As an attorney Of Counsel with Connor Kudlac Lee, Sergio R. Davila focuses his practice in Intellectual Property matters for rights holders, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. He represents clients in litigation regarding patent infringement, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and commercial matters. He also helps clients whose reputations and businesses have been aggrieved by irresponsible publications as well as clients accused of publishing actionable statements in his defamation, business disparagement, and free speech practice.
Sergio has built a reputation for strategic decision-making, hands-on analyses of software (especially in intellectual property cases), and thorough factual investigations. Clients turn to Sergio, often on a repeat basis, for his steady-handed judgment in stressful times. Sergio holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin in Computer Science, in Radio-Television-Film, and in Mathematics. Sergio also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the prestigious Order of the Barristers for outstanding advocacy skills and won a National Championship in Moot Court.
Sergio is also a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice in Texas, California, and the federal courts of the Southern District of Texas, the Western District of Texas, the Eastern District of Texas, the Northern District of Texas, the Northern District of California, and the Central District of California.
